§ 2-253. Purpose.

The purpose of the worker's compensation fund is to provide a separate fund to finance and account for worker's compensation benefits costs and expenses for the city. The worker's compensation fund is expected to grow each year until a sufficient amount has been accumulated in the fund to finance worker's compensation benefits, expenses, fees, and costs from earnings of the fund.
