§ 2-112. Vacancy in office.

Latest version.

An office shall become vacant by death, resignation, the end of the term, residence outside the city, or removal from office. No officer of any board or commission may serve past the end of the term of office without five affirmative votes of city council. There shall be no "defacto" officer of any board or commission.
